Recently, Sonia was generous enough to offer Fab Over Forty readers her beauty tips for women over 40.  Excellent advice!  Since she was so great in answering our beauty questions, we thought it would be fun to see what her favorite summer lip looks is this summer.  Here’s what Sonia had to say.

Colorful, juicy lips are quintessential summer, but this season they come with a textural twist. My favorite lip look focuses on beautiful melon shades that combine the freshness of orange with the timeless beauty of red, in a wet shine finish like my Shine Luxe Sheer Lip Color in Sheer Melon. Nothing is prettier than a fresh bright lip with a nude face in the summer for a clean, modern aesthetic.

Here I am wearing the Sheer Melon shade.  I was at Target the other day so I just had to pick it up! There are so many great shades in this collection and while not super sheer, they are more light weight than a typical lipstick.  We’re beginning to possibly sense a trend here in the lip looks.  But stay tuned for tomorrow’s lip look, we may surprise you!
